The Food Standards Agency is warning consumers about a brand of CHORIZO SAUSAGE sold at some market stalls in England which has been found to be contaminated with SALMONELLA.
SABARI EMBUTIDOS CHORIZO may have been on sale at other markets within United Kingdom.
The 250g sausages, which come in two varieties, spicy and mild are not believed to be on sale in supermarkets or other retail stores.
Anyone who has bought any these Spanish Chorizo is advised NOT TO EAT IT because of the possible risk of food poisoning. It should be thrown away.
Identification of the Product
The Chorizo comes in a clear plastic pack with a predominantly red label which describes the product as spicy or mild in French and Spanish -
