The Rotary Club of Alloa Primary School Quiz final, recently held at Alva Academy, proved to be a resounding success and very competitive. The event this year had the most primary schools ever taking part and the event organiser Rotarian Hector Nicolson said: 'I am absolutely delighted at the support offered by each participating school and parents but most important, all children who entered into the spirit of the event and made it so competitive and exciting for all have to be highly commended".
Each school was presented with a certificate to commemorate the occasion by the Rotary Club of Alloa President, Ian Riley.
Abercromby Primary School, Tullibody were declared overall winners while Tillicoultry Primary School were placed second and Sunnyside Primary School, Alloa were third.
