Clackmannanshire Council Online

Volunteer Mentor information sessions

Online - Wednesday 9th September 2026 to Thursday 24th September 2026

MCR Pathways is looking for caring, positive adults to become volunteer mentors for young people in our three secondary schools.

You don't need any qualifications or previous experience. The most important thing is a willingness to listen, encourage and support a young person. Just one hour a week can help build confidence, resilience and aspirations.

Mentoring is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a young person's life while giving something back to your local community.

By committing just one hour a week during school hours (term time only), volunteer mentors can make a direct, positive difference as a trusted adult to a young person in their local community.

  • No prior experience needed: Full training and ongoing support is provided.
  • Convenient & flexible: Mentoring takes place at a school near the mentor's workplace or home, working around their schedule.
  • Fulfills the Trusted Adult Guarantee: Helps businesses deliver on their community impact through meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility.
