THRIVE to Keep Well Programme

Clackmannanshire - Tuesday 8th September 2026 to Friday 18th December 2026

The THRIVE to Keep Well Programme is a 16 week course supporting people with a mental health challenge, including anxiety, low mood, depression, bereavement and trauma. Over the course of 16 weeks, participants are supported to explore emotional literacy, learn coping skills for stress and anxiety, and try new activities that can support their wellbeing. The final weeks of the course help participants to identify a goal they’d like to achieve, which could be education, work, volunteering or taking up a new hobby, and helps access the right support to achieve this goal.

THRIVE to Keep Well was developed by Clackmannanshire Council partnership with NHS Forth Valley, Falkirk Council and Stirling Council, and is now delivered in all three areas of Forth Valley. The programme uses evidence based therapeutic techniques to improve the overall confidence, self-esteem and motivation of participants. We offer mixed-gender, women-only, men-only, and youth groups (age 16-21).

The programme is delivered by skilled and experienced facilitators with backgrounds in family support, employability, community education and wellbeing. It is delivered in three stages:

Stage One

Learn about stress, anxiety and depression, and practice ways to overcome these difficult feelings while boosting your confidence and self-esteem.

Stage Two

Discover new skills and interests, and learn ways to work towards a goal that’s important to you.

Stage Three

Meet supportive services and groups in your community that can help you with next steps like employment, training, volunteering or social activities.
