Challenge Poverty Conference

This event is hosted by Clackmannanshire Community Planning Partnership

This conference provides delegates with the opportunity to explore the changing face of poverty at national and local level.

Workshops will explore the current Clackmannanshire landscape of provision, aimed at tackling the key drivers of poverty, amid the current cost of living crisis.

Workshop 1 - Income from Employment

This workshop will provide an overview of the Best Start Bright Futures National Delivery Plan for reducing child poverty with a particular focus on the role of employability interventions and how this can be maximised at a local level.

Workshop 2 - Income Maximisation

This workshop will provide a solution focused exploration of the landscape, current provision and opportunities within Clackmannanshire for driving change.

Workshop 3 - Clacks Good Food

This workshop will explore the changes needed to make the food that keeps us healthy and well, affordable and accessible to all.

Workshop 4 - Fuel Poverty

This workshop will focus on exploration of services and support to help minimise impacts of energy price rises and fuel poverty.
