Clackmannanshire Council has grants of up to £800 available to all users of private water supplies.

A private water supply is any water source that is not provided by Scottish Water as part of its core function and where the responsibility for its maintenance and repair lies with the owner or person who uses it.

The funding is available to help improve water supplies that fail to meet the required standards.

Owners and users of a private water supply should ensure they are registered with the Council and that we have all the information we need from you to compile a register of private water supplies in the county.

Information packs and questionnaires have been sent to all owners and users that we are aware of. If you haven't received a pack yet please contact Andy Hair from Environmental Services on 01259 452543.
