Sports Development Badminton Tournament 2005
Thursday 10th February 2005
The annual Sports Development Badminton Tournament took place on Sunday 6th February at Tulligarth Community Sports Complex.85 children from P1 - S4 had a smashing time at the tournament.
Primary and secondary aged children from Clackmannanshire and Falkirk competed against each other for winners' shields and medals.Lynne Glen, senior sports development officer said " the skill level was very high and there were some tough competitions, the sportsmanship from all competitors was excellent, I was delighted with the tournament and have decided that a Clackmannanshire only tournament will be organised tournament in October this year as preparation for the annual event early next year."
All children that competed in the event received certificates that were presented by Bill Seton from Clackmannanshire Sports Council and Councillor McGill.Congratulations to all participants.
