Benefits Drop-Ins Continue

Local residents with questions or concerns about benefits can drop into an advice session being held this month.

Officers from the Council's Money Advice Service will be able to provide advice and assistance with enquiries about:

  • Discretionary Housing Payments
  • The Scottish Welfare Fund
  • Department for Works and Pensions Benefits
  • Money Advice
  • Housing Benefit

As well as basic advice, appointments can be made for more complex cases such as applications, appeals and tribunals. The service is free, impartial and confidential.
The sessions are at:

  • Alva CAP: Tuesdays 2.30pm - 4.30pm
  • Ben Cleuch Centre, Tillicoultry: Wednesdays 2pm - 4.30pm
  • Clackmannan CAP: Thursday 2.30 - 4pm
  • Tullibody Healthy Living: Fridays 10am - 12pm
