Milk Competition Brings Panda Prize

Primary school pupils in Clackmannanshire could win a trip to Edinburgh Zoo as part of a new promotion to encourage the consumption of milk at schools.

Working in partnership with Müller Wiseman Dairies, the Council's Class Cuisine catering service will run a six week milk promotion to highlight the health benefits of choosing milk.
The promotion will offer schoolchildren the chance to entered into a promotional competition where they have the opportunity to win prizes including:

  • £10 Voucher - weekly prize draw winner from every school
  • Grand Final Draw - At the end of the 6 week promotion 10 lucky winners will be drawn at random from all entries received during the promotion and each will win either a Bicycle, Kindle Fire or equivalent prize worth up to £150
  • Trip to Edinburgh Zoo - Panda Points for best performing school during the six week promotion - winners will receive a trip for 50 pupils from the winning school to visit Edinburgh Zoo.

Education Convenor Ellen Forson said: "We are always looking for innovative ways to encourage our young people to follow healthy lifestyles. I hope that this new promotion will capture their imagination and help them make the healthy choices."
