A terrific programme of free summer activities for children have been lined up at Clackmannanshire libraries, starting on Friday 28th June.
The summer activities programme kicks-off with the launch of the latest Summer Reading Challenge, Creepy House, on Friday 28th June, part-funded by Tesco Bank.
Discover the secrets of Creepy House and meet some of the hair-raising residents. Are you brave enough to explore The Awful Upstairs, The Gruesome Ground Floor and The Spine-tingling Cellar?
Just register at your local library or CAP over the summer holidays, read at least six books and collect the Creepy House goody bag when you have completed the challenge.
Activity sessions at libraries and CAPs include Zoolab with a Creepy House themed workshop providing the backdrop for a spine-tingling introduction to animals with lots of fun along the way, and funded by Tesco Bank. Zoolab will be at the Ben Cleuch Centre on Wednesday 10th July, 11-12 noon and at Alva CAP on Thursday 11th July, 2-3pm and Clackmannan CAP, Wednesday 17th July, 2-3pm. There is also a brilliant magic show by your favourite magician Raymondo Bongo at Sauchie CAP on Thursday 25th July, 2-2.45pm.
Tickets for these sessions are free but must be booked in advance at your local library/CAP either by going in or telephoning. Dates and times of all sessions can be found on Clacksweb or on the posters in the libraries/CAPs where the sessions are taking place.
