Bookbug Sessions Begin

Weekly Bookbug sessions for under-fives have resumed in the local libraries and CAPS.

They will be held in the CAPS in Alva, Clackmannan, Sauchie, Tillicoultry and Tullibody and will resume in Alloa at the new venue of the Bowmar Centre on Monday 3rd September from10am until 10.30am and on Thursday 6th September from 11am until 11.30am.

Clackmannanshire Council's Education, Sport and Leisure Convenor, Councillor Ellen Forson, said: "Bookbug is part of the Scottish Book Trust, the leading agency for the promotion of literature, reading and writing in Scotland and aims to encourage parents and children to share and enjoy books together."

Sessions are full of fun with stories, songs and rhymes for children and parents/carers to enjoy together. Please come along and join in.
