Council leader Sam Ovens will meet with representatives of Tillicoultry Action Group this evening to discuss properties in the town.
Members of the group will come to Greenfield House on Tuesday 21st June where they will meet with Councillor Ovens along with portfolio holders and senior managers.
Councillor Ovens said: "I'm delighted to be having this dialogue with the Action Group. I hope and expect that it will be a constructive meeting. I hope they will get the message that they have to be realistic, but I also look forward to hearing their suggestions on asset management issues in Tillicoultry. Hopefully we can make some progress."
He added: "We agreed at the budget to rationalise the number of buildings we run in Tillicoultry. Many of our building are under-occupied and we can save money while retaining services if we can move them into fewer, better maintained buildings.
"I'd also like to discuss our initial plans round the table with Tillicoultry Action Group to get their views before a report is written for a future council meeting."
