Clackmannanshire Council deferred a decision on the budget and council tax at its meeting yesterday. Both the minority Labour administration and the SNP opposition put forward budgets which agreed a council tax freeze, but tabled different savings. Conservative and Independent councillors asked for a deferment to allow them to consider both proposals.
A special meeting will now be held on Wednesday 5 March at 9.30am in the Council Chambers to decide the budget.
