Various Streets, Clackmannanshire - 20 MPH Speed Limit Experimental Order (ref: 5-6-2586)

THE CLACKMANNANSHIRE COUNCIL (VARIOUS STREETS, CLACKMANNASHIRE) (20 MPH SPEED LIMIT) EXPERIMENTAL ORDER 2026
Clackmannanshire Council propose to make the above-named Experimental Order under Sections 9, 10(2), 84(1) and (2) and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) which will designate these sections of road as a 20 MPH speed limit to trial a reduction in the speed limit in the interests of road safety. The experimental traffic order will be in place for up to 18 months and will be used to monitor the effectiveness of the new speed limit on these roads.
FULL DETAILS of this proposal are in the draft Order which, together with a copy of the relative plan and a Statement of the Council's reasons for promoting the Order is available below for three weeks from 14 January 2026, where objectors must state their reasons for objection by 6 February 2026.
