This consultation is now closed

A draft Tillicoultry Conservation Area Appraisal was prepared for public consultation.

The document identifies the characteristics and key elements which contribute to the special historic and architectural character of the area. The finalised document will serve as supplementary planning guidance to the Local Development Plan and guide the Council in making future planning decisions in Tillicoultry.

The Tillicoultry Conservation Area was designated in 2005, amending the boundaries of the area originally designated in the 1970s. The Conservation Area encompasses the historic core of the town north of the High Street (A91), with Upper Mill Street to the west and Walker Terrace, Stirling Street, Ochil Street, Hamilton Street and Hill Street to the east.
