Scotland's Mental Health First Aid (SMHFA) delivery in Forth Valley has restarted.
SMHFA is aimed at anyone who wants to help someone with mental health problems whether in a professional or personal capacity.
Mental Health First Aid is the help given to someone experiencing a mental health problem before professional help is obtained.
Scotland's Mental Health First Aid does NOT teach people to be therapists.
Our courses are delivered free of charge and are open to people living or working in Forth Valley.
SMHFA is delivered over 2 days (12 hours of learning).

Delivery of the online informed level Ask Tell Mental Health Improvement and Suicide Prevention workshops are also scheduled to the end of the year.
This series of 3 x 1 hr workshops are for ideally suited to people who have no previous training in mental health and suicide prevention.
The workshops explore how to promote good mental health, give practical advice about how to approach and have compassionate conversations with people experiencing mental distress or feeling suicidal, and when to provide immediate help and support.
