Priority grocery shopping for vulnerable and elderly customers 

Supermarkets across the nation now have priority opening times for vulnerable and elderly members of the community.

You will find below a list of supermarkets in Alloa who all have the priority opening times. We will continue to update this list.

Care Home Closures 

Menstrie House care home and Ludgate House Resource Centre are closed to visitors. This is purely a precautionary measure.

You can keep in touch by phoning 01259 762482 for Menstrie House or 01259 226833 for Ludgate House Resource Centre.


You should not visit if you feel unwell or have any symptoms of Coronvirus.

Everyone is being reminded to follow Health Protection Scotland’s advice to:

  • always carry tissues with you and use them to catch your cough or sneeze, then bin the tissue and wash your hands with soap and water
  • wash your hands often with soap and water, especially after using public transport
  • avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands
  • avoid close contact with people who are unwell
