The book "We Must Not Cry Here - Memories of the Polish Community in Alloa" was written by Rosa McPherson in 1990. Rosa interviewed several members of the Polish Community, recording their memories and experiences in the book. She also describes her own childhood,growing up in the "Bottom End" of Alloa with her Polish family. As the book is now out of print, this Website has been created to give more people the opportunity to read some of the stories of the Polish Community in Alloa.
