Gender Equality Scheme 2007 - 2010
Clackmannanshire Licensing Board is committed to promoting gender equality and to fulfilling its legal duty in terms of the Equality Act 2006.
Within its Gender Equality Scheme, the Board has set out the Actions it has taken or intends to take to:-
- Gather information on how its policies and practices affect men and women
- Make use of all relevant information to promote gender equality and to regularly renew progress in achieving the objectives within this scheme
- Assess the impact of its policies and practices on men and women
- Consult on the scheme
- Achieve the objectives set out in this Scheme
The Scheme will be revised in three years and progress in achieving its objectives will be reported on annually.
