The Final Draft Core Paths Plan has been drawn up to provide the public with a system of paths to give reasonable access throughout the Clackmannanshire Council area. Clackmannanshire Council was also required to undertake a Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) of the Plan.
In accordance with section 18(1)(a) of the Land Reform (Scotland) Act 2003, and section 16(2) of the Environmental Assessment (Scotland) Act 2005, a statutory 12 week consultation period to allow for the submission of comments and objections to the Plan and SEA must be held. Electronic versions of both the Final Draft Core Paths Plan consultation document and accompanying Strategic Environmental Assessment are available on our website.
For the duration of the consultation, paper copies of the Plan and SEA will be available to view at the Council Offices (Kilncraigs, Greenside Street, Alloa FK10 1EB). Copies of the Plan will be available at all public libraries, where they may be inspected during normal opening hours.
We have also made arrangements for you to view the Plan and SEA at the following drop-in sessions (each session will run from 3:00 pm - 7:00pm):
- Alloa - Town Hall on Tuesday, 2nd September;
- Alva - Dalmore Centre on Tuesday, 9th September; and
- Dollar - Civic Centre on Tuesday, 16th September;
Comments submissions forms will be available at these events, and are downloadable from our website. Please note that all completed forms must reach us by the 13 October 2008 to be included in the consultation.
