Countryside Ranger Service
Mission Statement:
To promote, protect and enhance the wildlife, landscape and recreational opportunities in Clackmannanshire's countryside and encourage responsible and caring attitudes.
Clackmannanshire Ranger Service has four main aims.
- Ensuring a welcome for visitors to the countryside.
- Mediation between public use and other rural land uses.
- Promoting awareness and understanding of the countryside.
- Caring for and enhancing the natural heritage.
The Ranger Service fulfils a county-wide role, but focusses on countryside areas owned or controlled by Clackmannanshire Council.

- Environmental Education
- Events and Walks
- Protecting the Countryside - Countryside Safety, Promoting Responsible Behaviour, Biological Recording and Wildlife Rescue
- Rights of Way and Public Footpaths
