Writers in Residence
Tom Murray is the area's writer in residence.
If you are a local resident and are interested in creative writing then Tom is interested in hearing from you.
His 18 month residency is supported by the Scottish Arts Council pARTners programme in conjunction with Cultural and Community Services.
Whatever level your writing is at, whether you are interested in developing your skills, are looking for advice or feedback or simply someone to bounce ideas off they want to hear from you.
Tom welcomes contact from people of all ages including:
- budding poets;
- novelists;
- scriptwriters;
- individuals;
- groups.
Surgeries with Tom Murray
Tom is available to discuss your writing at:
- Alloa Library
- Wednesdays between 5.00 pm and 7.00 pm
- Please book a time through the Library, Tel: 01259 722262.
- The Art Shop, Tron Court, Tullibody
- Tuesdays between 11.30 am and 3.00 pm
- This is a drop-in, so no need to book.
Recent Projects
- Unheard Voices: An Anthology of Poetry and Prose - July 2008. Launch due to take place at Broomhall Castle, Menstrie on Friday, 5th December. Copies of the book will be on sale for £4.99 from Alloa Library, The Vessel, Aberdona and the Artshop.
