Walks in Clackmannanshire

In Clackmannanshire, we are lucky to have some of the best walking country in Scotland, right on our doorstep.
With so much focus on healthy living, good diet and exercise, walking is the most convenient way of keeping fit there is.
Official guidelines say we should all be walking at least 10,000 steps a day. Few of us meet these targets, but there are no excuses with so many good walks - for all abilities - in Clackmannanshire.

Right to Roam
The Scottish Outdoor Access Code was launched last month as new rights of access came into force.
Everyone now has the legal right to responsible access, and there is a duty on landowners to provide access to and across their land - giving people more freedom to enjoy the countryside.
In return for these new rights, the public must act responsibly and be aware of their impact on the environment and the livelihood of those who live and work on the land.
More information can be found in our Outdoor Access section.
Be Responsible…
The outdoors is where land managers make a living. It is the home of Scotland’s diverse wildlife and is enjoyed by the many people who live there and visit it.
See the Scottish Outdoor Access Code for advice on how to use our countryside responsibly.
