New Digital Media Projects
Over recent years the use of new digital media as a tool for learning in Clackmannanshire has grown. Projects have mainly taken place under the guidance and tutoring of Kenny Bean, through his company Photo-Lab.
Kenny has worked on projects with people of all ages including community, school, and in-service training for school teachers. Currently Kenny is working with people from a variety of ages and ability through the CALL Programme. The CALL Programme's main aim is to assist people in the community in creative learning using computer technology.
Projects to date have included digital photography, and animation. Some of these have been exhibited at the MacRobert Centre in Stirling and another work projected last December onto the windows of Kilncraigs in Alloa. Work in new digital media is often married to that of other artists working in the area, to include dance and creative writing.
New digital media is increasingly viewed as a fast and easy way to direct creative learning. If you would like to find out more, please contact us at the address below.
