Voting by Post or Proxy
All registered electors may apply for an absent vote (postal or proxy) at any time. To apply you must submit an application form to your Electoral Registration Officer. Forms can be downloaded by following selecting this link to the Assessors website, but please make sure you return it to the registration office for your area.
If you choose to apply for a permanent postal vote you need do nothing more - providing you remain on the register of electors, postal votes will be issued automatically to you at future elections.
