Festive fun begins

The festive season kicks off on Saturday 26th November with fun for all the family in Alloa town centre.

The funfair opens at Greenside car park from 11am until 6pm, while the High Street is closed from 1pm to accommodate street entertainers and the Beat 106 roadshow. Two local bands - 'Must be something' and 'The Last Act' -  will be performing live along with local singer Andrea Gothard.

The Christmas lights switch on is at 4.30pm with Lochies School Pupils Euan Cochrane and Aisling Weaver performing the honours assisted by Provost Derek Stewart. Santa will also be making an appearance.
