A by-election will be held in the Clackmannanshire North ward in the new year.
It follows the resignation of Councillor Archie Drummond, who was first elected in May 2012.
Cllr Drummond’s resignation is effective from 31st December 2017. Residents of Clackmannanshire North continue to be represented by the three other elected members.
The notice of election will be published in January and the by-election will be held within three months.
