A beacon will be lit in the Ochils in celebration of the Queen's 90th birthday.
Clackmannanshire Council will be joining in with the national celebration of the Queen's 90th birthday on Thursday 21st April, by the lighting of a birthday beacon on The Nebit.

So far, more than 250 organisations across the UK have confirmed they will light beacons simultaneously to give people the opportunity to pay homage to our longest-reigning monarch.

The event will be led by Provost Tina Murphy and Lord-Lieutenant Johnny Stewart, who will be accompanied by invited guests. They will light the beacon at 9pm as part of a short service of celebration, including a personal message from HRH the Prince of Wales.
