People in the Clackmannanshire or Stirling area who regularly use health and social care services are being invited to represent local people on the new Integration Joint Board which is being set up.

The aim is to ensure the voice of local service users is heard and gives local people the chance to help shape the way future health and social care services are designed and delivered across Clackmannanshire and Stirling. The role involves attending meetings, taking part in patient & service user forums and become involved in consulting other local people who use services.

To apply to become a service user representative you must currently be over 18 years of age, have experience of using health and / or social care services, and live in the Clackmannanshire or Stirling Council areas.

Experience of a similar role, whilst helpful, is not essential as relevant training and support will be given to the representative throughout their role on the Board. Details of how to apply are outlined in the documents on NHS Forth Valley's website and the deadline for applications is 14th August 2015.

Open information sessions will be running on 29th July from 6pm - 7pm and on 31st July 10am - 11am at The Hub, Alloa and on 30th July 10am - 11am and 6pm - 7pm in the Lecture Theatre, Stirling Community Hospital.
