The annual Open Badminton Tournament saw an amazing 114 boys and girls from P1 - S6 taking part in singles matches throughout the day.
This introductory competition, which was held at Lornshill Academy, was aimed at children attending school badminton or coaching classes and the standard was once again very high with excellent skills on show and some very exciting and close matches taking place. Entries were received, not just from Clackmannanshire, but from the Falkirk and Stirling local authority areas as well.
This is the second year in a row that entries have exceeded 100 participants and thanks go everyone who supported the event, including Robert Marshall of RJM Sports, Falkirk, who kindly sponsored the event by providing bronze and silver medals and winning trophies for each age group.
