A new activity and learning project in Alloa has been launched offering free activities for adults and young people, with everything from fly fishing to free running on offer.

Organised by the Council's Youth Services Team, the programme begins in February and offers activities for people of all ages to take part including family fun sessions, clubbercise and indoor bowls. Useful sessions for parents of teenagers are also on offer, covering issues such as young people and alcohol and drugs, along with the internet and social networking.

Ellen Forson, Education, Sport and Leisure Convener said: "There are some great new activities on offer in this programme, giving young people and their families a chance to take part in some fun and informative sessions for free. I'd encourage everyone to take a look at the programme and try out some new activities."

Details of the activities are available on the Events Diary on ClacksWeb and are free to attend, but must be booked via the Booking Line on 01259 213131.
