Clackmannanshire Council held its annual Youth Celebration event at Alloa Town Hall on 6th November.
Young people aged 8 - 22 years from all over Clackmannanshire attended with friends and family to celebrate their achievements over the last year. Awards and certificates were presented by Provost Tina Murphy, Councillor Ellen Forson, Robert Walters from CTSi and Kevin Kelman, Assistant Head of Education.
The awards presented included Junior Challenge, Dynamic Youth, Youth Achievement, First Aid, Saltire Awards, Clackmannanshire Youth Timebank and John Muir.
This year saw the introduction of service awards for staff and volunteers with the longest service award going to May Graham for her 30-plus years of service in Clackmannanshire.
Councillor Forson, Education, Sport and Leisure Convener, said: "I was delighted to be involved in presenting the awards at this annual ceremony, celebrating the achievements of young people. The awards showcase the talent and commitment of young people in Clackmannanshire."
There was live music on the evening provided by young people from the Sound Space Studio a big thanks to Amy Knox, Charlene Docherty and Carla Dickson and Jamie Shanks a young up and coming DJ.
All of the young people and their guests thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The Council's Youth Services staff would like congratulate all the young people involved on their achievements and look forward to working with them on new awards for next year.
