Clackmannanshire Licensing Board has agreed that all licensed premises permitted to sell alcohol for consumption on the premises (on-sales) can open for an additional hour over the festive period this year.
The extension will apply from 19th December 2014 to 3rd January 2015 with each licensed premises allowed to trade for an hour beyond their usual closing time, subject to no premises being permitted to trade beyond 2am.
In previous years each licensee had to apply for extensions to their opening hours. This
decision means that will no longer be necessary, unless premises wish to trade over and
above the additional hour permitted by the general extension.
