Council Leader Gary Womersley has attended the opening of the upgraded O-I plant in Alloa.
Councillor Womersley said: "I am delighted to attend the opening of the plant following the completion of the £29m upgrade.
"The Council has been working with O-I for a considerable time to help to ensure the plant's future in Alloa, and we were very pleased to have helped bring together the successful funding from Scottish Enterprise.
"As the largest private sector employer in the area, we have been committed to providing any assistance we can to help safeguard these important local jobs.
"Keeping and increasing jobs locally is vital to the ongoing improvement of Clackmannanshire and the Council will continue to keep engaging with all employers and stakeholders to keep this a key priority.
"I wish the plant and all the employees every success in the future."
