Clackmannanshire Access Forum will hold its annual general meeting on Tuesday 25th February.
The meeting, scheduled for 7pm until 8.30pm, will take place in Dumyat Centre, Menstrie, when among the main items on the agenda, the Forum will report on their work and achievements over the past year.
The Clackmannanshire Access Forum, formed in 2001, is made up of individuals to represent four stakeholder groups who each have an interest in access issues within Clackmannanshire.
Their remit includes advising the Council and other persons or bodies consulting the Forum on access rights, rights of way and core path plans. They also offer assistance to parties in any disputes about access rights, rights of way, core path plans and the use of core paths.
The stakeholder groups include: community groups, user groups, agencies, and land managers.
As well as an annual report, other items on the agenda at the AGM will include the election of members to each of the stakeholder groups.
There will also be two presentations, one on the achievements of the Ochils Landscape Partnership and the other on wildlife that access takers might encounter in Clackmannanshire.
If you will be attending the meeting or, if you require further information, contact the Council's Access and Countryside Projects Officer, by calling 01259 452409 or emailing mdean@clacks.gov.uk.
