Free 'come and try' sessions of pre-school gymnastics are being held this week.
The sessions, which are suitable for 1 - 5 year olds, are on Thursday 22nd August at the Wasp Centre in Alloa, Clackmannanshire's dedicated gymnastics facility, which opened last year. The sessions are at 10 - 11.30am and 1 - 2.30pm and are a great opportunity to discover this state-of-the-art gymnastic centre.
Councillor Ellen Forson, Education, Sport and Leisure Convenor, said: "Gymnastics is acknowledged as the basis of all sports, so this is a great opportunity for pre-school children to try gymnastics, see what the venue has to offer, have fun on the equipment and sign up for a class.
"Gymnastics provides a great foundation for children to have if they do choose to move into other sports and activities. They will also learn about the importance of an active and healthy lifestyle as well as come and see the fantastic facilities available at the Wasp Centre."
