The Council's business improvement programme, Making Clackmannanshire Better, is gaining momentum.

A number of practical developments have been progressed over the past few months, and a report detailing workstreams and key themes was presented to Council today (Thursday).

A key workstream is the Tullibody Pilot, which involves a review of services currently provided in the Tullibody, Cambus and Glenochil areas. Phase One of the Tullibody Pilot has started with data collection, collation and analysis underway to establish the current range of services and providers in this area.

Council Leader, Councillor Gary Womersley, said: "Making Clackmannanshire Better is very much underpinned by a strong focus on improving the customer experience. We aim to minimise the number of separate engagements necessary for customers to access the services they require, which will in turn reduce the cost of maintaining separate, or indeed duplicate, processes, both within the Council, partner organisations and our communities."

A formal launch of Making Clackmannanshire Better is planned for later this year. Sir Harry Burns, the Chief Medical Officer for Scotland, has confirmed interest in our approach to service improvement, and is expected to support/attend the publicity event we have planned for this coming October, to introduce Making Clackmannanshire Better to the wider community.
