Children from across Clackmannanshire came together last week as they took part in the Scottish FA certified football course as part of the Council's annual summer holiday programme.
The children between the ages of 5 and 12 years old received coaching from former professional footballer Paul Sludden. Paul, who used to play for Falkirk FC, gave the children the chance to practice and develop football skills such as passing, control, dribbling and shooting.
In addition to they had the chance to put their new skills into practise through small sided games and challenges every day.
Councillor Ellen Forson, Education, Sport and Leisure Convenor, said: "It was great to see these children playing and enjoying football over the summer and I have seen an improvement in each child which they should all be proud of. I hope that these boys and girls will now continue to play football either via our weekly Sports Development classes or at a local club if they don't already do so. Who knows one of these children may grow up to be the next Darren Fletcher or Kim Little."
