Ideas and suggestions for reshaping Care at Home Services for the future will be discussed at two informal community meetings in Alloa and Stirling over the coming fortnight.

Service users and non-users, families, carers, and anyone with an interest in the care of older people are being invited to come along to have their say at the Tommy Downs Room, Town Hall, Alloa, at 10 am on Thursday 13 June, or Council Chambers, Old Viewforth, Stirling, at 10 am on Tuesday 18 June. The meetings are being organised jointly by Stirling and Clackmannanshire Councils.

Care at Home Services help older people with things like taking a bath, washing hair, shaving and preparing meals. The meetings will be an opportunity for local people to discuss what works well at the moment, what they feel could be improved, and how involved they would like to be in shaping future services.

Anyone who would like to come along is asked to call Tracey McChord on 01786 442787 or email mcchordt@stirling.gov.uk. Comments from people who would like to contribute but cannot attend are very welcome, and can also be emailed to this address.
