Four Clackmannanshire schoolchildren have each won a fabulous Kindle Fire in a competition to co-incide with the annual Scottish School Meals Week.
The winners were: Sophie Davidson, P5 at Clackmannan Primary School; Erin McMillan, P3/4 at Muckhart Primary School; Megan Gallagher, P7, at Park Primary School and Adam Mullen, P1 at St Serf's Primary School.
The competition was run in conjunction with Class Cuisine, the Council's catering service.
Education Convener, Councillor Ellen Forson said: "We were delighted with the numbers and the high standard of entries we received. I would like to congratulate all of the winners."
Pupils from all over the county were given the opportunity to take part in a wordsearch competition, where they had to find hidden words all associated with Scottish Schools Meals Week, including some of the names of the fabulous dishes which were on the menu that week. There was a competition winner from each local school.
A £20 sports voucher for Sterling Mills was won by Steven Brolly, Secondary Schools Support Service.
