Klacksun - Clackmannanshire Service Users Network for Mental Health - is to offer an evening alternative over the summer months of 2013.

Current Klacksun member Anna Pearson said: "I am passionate about mental health and wellbeing. Klacksun has been a fantastic opportunity for me to share and discuss my views while getting important information about positive mental health."

A launch event will be held on the evening of Wednesday 17th April at Klacksun's base in Carsebridge House, opposite Marshalls Construction in Alloa. Starting at 6.30pm, there will be the chance for members old and new to gather for a relaxed, informal coffee and chat about the network and current opportunities.

Following the launch event, the Klacksun office will be open weekly on Wednesday evenings until 7pm for Klacksun members. Current Klacksun member Catherine Stenhouse added: "Evening access to Klacksun will allow those with day time commitments to voice their thoughts or concerns about mental health at a time that is accessible."

The evening alternative will run from the launch event in April to the end of October. Klacksun is open to any adult in Clackmannanshire with mental health problems. For more information about Klacksun visit www.klacksun.org.uk or call the Involvement Development Worker on 01259 450000.
