The Clackmannanshire Alliance are seeking your views on its draft Single Outcome Agreement 2013-2023.
The Clackmannanshire Alliance is a community planning partnership of organisations, comprising Clackmannanshire Council, Central Scotland Police, NHS Forth Valley, Central Scotland Fire and Rescue Services, Forth Valley College and representatives from the voluntary and business sectors in Clackmannanshire.
The Single Outcome Agreement 2013-2023 is a joint statement from partners which sets out the shared vision and ambition for securing improved outcomes for communities in Clackmannanshire.
This agreement sets out priorities and intended outcomes for Clackmannanshire over the next 10 years with a focus around 2 key priorities; economic recovery and growth, developing skills and; ensuring community well-being, with a particular emphasis on reducing inequalities through early intervention.
The Clackmannanshire Alliance is now seeking views on the priorities and intended outcomes set out in the draft Single Outcome Agreement 2013/2023.
Council Leader, Councillor Gary Womersley said: "This Single Outcome Agreement sets out our vision, priorities and objectives for Clackmannanshire over the next 10 years. It will also set out the short term priority actions that will be the focus of partnership activities over the next three years.
"We have seen improvements across a range of quality of life measures in Clackmannanshire in recent years. There have been improvements in transport links, a £2 million programme of improvements to Alloa's town centre and significant improvements to Clackmannanshire's educational infrastructure.
"That said, there is still a gap between our most and least advantaged communities and looking forward over the next 10 years, there are a number of key issues, challenges and opportunities.
"Clackmannanshire offers great potential for individuals, families, businesses and employers and we want to maximise the potential of the area as a place to live and work. So the focus of this Single Outcome Agreement is about improving outcomes for people and addressing and preventing the causes of deprivation that affects some of our communities."
