Sunnyside PS Carol SingersProvost Tina Murphy and Santa Claus were on hand this week to welcome over 50 young Carol singers from Sunnyside Primary School to the Council headquarters at Greenfield.

The Provost, Santa, and Council staff were entertained by the pupils from the nearby school, with a rendition of popular Christmas songs, including Jingle Bells and White Christmas.

Provost Murphy said: "It was a delight to welcome deputy Head Teacher Marny McCulloch, her fellow teachers and the wonderful group of children to Greenfield. They sang wonderfully and were a credit to the school and their families.

"On behalf of everyone at the Council I would like to wish the children their parents and all the teachers at the school a very Happy Christmas."
