Park Primary School in Alloa are gearing up for a summer of sport by holding an Olympics Sports Day on Tuesday, 19th June.

As well as an Olympic themed event they will also be holding a Summer Fayre, organised in conjunction with the school's parent council.

Head Teacher, Adrienne Aitken said: "As well as coming to enjoy the sports, friends and family of Park Primary are invited to browse round our Summer Fayre."

There will be lots of stalls and entertainments including plant stalls; stationery and book stalls; clothing stalls; second hand toys; home baking; raffles and tombolas.

Children young and old will be able to take their chance at beating the goalie or to pelt the 'prisoner' in the stocks with wet sponges. There will be face painting and other treats which are yet to be announced.

Refreshments will also be available to purchase. The fun and games will start at 10am and finish at approximately 1.30pm.
