Family Fun Events are to be held at the Dumyat Centre in Menstrie next weekend, 1st and 2nd June, with something for everyone.
Organised by Clackmannanshire Council and Menstrie Community Council, all the fun kicks off on Friday, 1st June between 4pm and 6pm, and resumes the following day between 10am and 3pm.
On the Friday evening the library services will be offering younger visitors the chance to join in with badge making, crafts and giant games such as snakes and ladders, Jenga and Connect 4. Refreshments will also be provided.
On Saturday visitors to the centre will be able to enjoy a tea, coffee and home baking stall provided by the Community Council, as well as a variety of Come and Try Sports events for all ages provided by Sport Development. Children will also have the chance to take part in crafts, badge making and face painting.
Entry to the centre over both days is free and participants will also be given the opportunity to take part in a free draw to win some prizes.
Clackmannanshire Council's Provost Tina Murphy said: "Over the two days visitors will also be able to visit the Dumyat Centre and see the special exhibition we have set up to mark the Queen's Diamond Jubilee with an exhibition of "Clackmannanshire Then and Now" over the past 60 years."
People in Menstrie who have visited the Dumyat Centre recently will have noticed a huge difference in facilities following extensive refurbishments, with new book stock, a better children's area and more comfortable seating for the public to enjoy reading a daily newspaper.
In addition there has been a new pod tea and coffee machine installed in the library area, dispensing real coffee.
