Young people from the Clax Art Youth Group, which is run by Clackmannanshire Council's Youth Services, have been part of the launch of the Resonate Arts House Happiness Festival.

Works were submitted by youngsters, who are involved in Clax Art , to be part of an exhibition of artwork.

The theme of the exhibition is "the self" - the thoughts, feelings and emotions relating to an individuals mental wellbeing.

At the start of the exhibition youngsters, involved in the project, attended a private viewing along with friends and family to celebrate their work and achievements.

One of the contributors, Jessica Gray, said: "It is great to get a preview of the exhibition and I am very proud to see my work on display."

Dani Ovens, said: " It has been good to come along to the group and take part, and exciting to show off my artistic skills."

Belinda Greer, Head of Education, said: "The exhibition has been inspirational and shows the power of art and how it can transform young peoples lives."

Their work has been on display as part of the Happiness Festival throughout April at the Resonate Arts House, Units A3 & A4, North Castle Street, Alloa, FK10 1EU.
