Clackmannanshire Council is offering tailored energy advice and one-to-one support for people who are experiencing difficulty in meeting the costs of their fuel bills.
This service is open to all residents in Clackmannanshire. A friendly home assessor can visit you in your home to chat about other ways you can save money and make your home more energy efficient. They can advise on using energy more efficiently, help you obtain the best deals on gas and electricity, help understand and simplify fuel bills, tariffs and meter readings, and also act on your behalf with utility suppliers to deal with fuel arrears and payment plans.
In the comfort of your own home, we can:
- Provide tailor-made advice on energy efficiency and energy saving measures
- Help you access available support
- Act on your behalf when dealing with energy suppliers
- Help you get the best out of your heating system
This service is part of the Council's ongoing commitment towards the promotion of energy conservation and efficiency and is being made possible thanks to funding from the Scottish Government.
The Council is working in partnership with 'The Wise Group' who will carry out the visits and provide this advice service in the area. When visiting your property, advisors will carry photographic identification which you can ask to see.
