Mary Queen of Scots, Sir Alexander Fleming, William Wallace, Marion Braidfute, Flora McDonald, Oor Wullie, Sean Connery, Lulu, Jock Stein, and Andy and Jamie Murray were all characterised at St Bernadette's Primary School in Tullibody as pupils celebrated Scotland Week.
Pupils, who were learning about the exploits and achievements of famous Scots who have contributed in a variety of ways to the country's history, were invited to dress up as a famous character - historic, current or fictional. All the learning in the school related to Scotland's language, culture and heritage.
Pupils were judge on their costumes and how well they shared their research on their chosen Scottish person.
While the judges' decision was difficult, the first prizes went to Aoife Douglas P1/2 as Katie Moray, Max Ryan P3/4 as Oor Wullie, Kyri Augusti P5/6 as Robert the Bruce and Abaigael Milne P6/7 as Mary Queen of Scots. Pupils who teamed together, including Elidh Hughes, Ellie Kettrick and Florence Maitland-Smith as Burke and Hare and Kaya Wilson and Joseph Nardini as Jamie and Andy Murray, were commended, as was Heather Golledge who portrayed Mary Slessor and told the audience about her missionary work in Nigeria.
