A dozen of the county's school staff will receive long service awards from the Provost at a special ceremony next month.
Among the staff is a supervisory assistant who has completed 40 years' service - Sandra Marfleet who works at Lornshill Academy. The remaining staff have each completed 25 years' service.
You are invited to send a photographer to Council Chambers, Greenfield House, Alloa, at 7pm on Thursday 28th May, when Provost Stewart will present the school staff with their long service certificates.
Provost Derek Stewart said: "Clackmannanshire is lucky in having so many loyal, hardworking and long serving staff. Over the years, and through many changes, these dedicated people have helped establish and maintain the education authority's good name. Between them, they have worked for the county for more than 300 years and I am delighted to express my genuine appreciation and congratulations."
