Call goes out for submissions for Christmas Art Show

Artists who wish to be part of Aberdona Gallery's first Christmas Show should be preparing to submit their work for consideration.

Professional and amateur artists are welcome to submit up to three works each and these should be delivered to the gallery for consideration on 1st and 2nd November 2008.

The Christmas Show opens on 16th November and will be a mixed exhibition of arts and crafts including oils, watercolours, drawings, prints, sculptures, ceramics and glass.

The Show will be open daily free of charge to the public and run until 16th January 2009. Works of art and crafts will be available for sale.

Aberdona Gallery for Artisans is Clackmannanshire's new art gallery and workshop which has been established in a setting that inspires a range of artistic collaborations.

Aberdona Gallery for Artisans at Aberdona Farm is three miles from Alloa. It can be reached from the A977 Forestmill road or from the B9140 Coalsnaughton to Dollar road - it is signposted from the road and the gallery's postcode is FK10 3QP.
